Did Ferguson get his tactics wrong yesterday?

This is my view: Demichellis is a defender but was allowed to move into a midfield and congest it, (thereby allowing Bayern to have the lion's share of possession) as ManUtd only had one striker. The domino effect was that Van Bommell and Pranjic had more space and left the ManUtd midfield chasing shadows. Van buyten was keeping a high line and Phillip Lahm alsod move up allowing Ribbery and Altintop more opportunities to venture forward. ManUtd had no answer for this: demonstrably outnumbered in midfield. Ofcourse, didn't do them any favours that they obligingly gave the ball away each time they had it and that Van der Sar was the only ManUtd player to actually show up
