Do you have an exotic pet? What is the weirdest pet you've ever had? Have?

I have a pet tarantula and so many people ask me WHY. Because she's pretty and actually quite gentle. It's amazing how many interesting critters are out there. One day I'm going to have a jungle room with all sorts of interesting animals in it!
