What should I do about my pelvic pain/abnormal ultrasound?

I recently went to the doctor regarding some pain on the right side of my pelvic area. I underwent an ultrasound on which they found some sort of tumor or an endometrioma. I followed up with a gynecologist as I was told to do. He completely blew me off and said that the tumor or whatever wasn't anything to worry about and did nothing to address my pain. He didn't offer any definitive answers as to what the spot on my ovary was. He did order a follow up ultrasound, but I am still worried that my problem isn't being addressed properly. Has anyone had a similar experience and/or have a suggestion. Thanks
