What is your first 10 favourite breeds of dog and why?

hi, I'm a dog trainer. my personal favorite from your list are: german shepherd, border collie, belgian sheepdog, Anatolian shepherd, pyrean mountain, Alaskan malamute, huskies, then anyother one on the list in no particular order. but i would not ever choose more than half of the breeds on YOUR list. i to love large breed dogs of the working and herding groups, but the fact is most of the breeds you have listed are not common breeds and hard to find. the are also not my personal favorites(though i like all dogs), i would say personally from working with many groups, i like dobermans, boxers, german shepherds, rotties, labs, goldens, border collies, bull mastiff, old english mastiffs, and great danes. thats in no particular order, just depends on the owner. dobies, rotties, germans, boxers, and bull mastiffs are great protection dogs. they are very loyal(like every breed i have listed) and will make good pets. the only thing to remember about these breeds is that thay are PROTECTIVE of there families and homes, so they need to be taken around as many people and pets as possible from a early age. the other breeds are also good pets. just remember, if you have a large breed dog, they need plenty of exercise. every dog breed is good because they are dogs(my favorite animal), but the ones l listed are considered the over all smartest breeds, easiest trained, and more loyal than a lot of other breeds. hope this helps, brad
