This may sound morbid, but is there a database or some way to see if someone has committed suicide?

I am looking into buying a townhouse and the neighbors said the reason it is $50,000 under the market value is because it needs updating. Then she said, "And he was also a single guy you went crazy." This leads me to believe that he may have killed himself. Is there any way to find this out without asking the realtor? It is a "forclosed" property.
