So, maybe you could bring up the topic of dating. U could ask her if she is in a relationship right now. If she is not, then ask her if she has any crushes or about her previous relationships. If she is straight, she will start gushing about the cute guys she sits next to in whatever cl or mention that she was in a relationship and depending on what she is like, may or may not give details. That at least should give you an idea of whether she is straight or gay. I hope this helped a bit. :)
