Clinton campaigner spreads rumor that Obama is Muslim.?

did they act alone or were they a scapegoat? even though Clinton has said it was wrong and she won't tolerate it, they have put this idea into people's minds and maybe cast doubt on Obama. could it be a well planned political trick?
